Broken is an extended play album and the major label debut by American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, released on September 22, 1992. It is produced by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and Flood. The EP replaces the electronica and synthpop style of their first album, Pretty Hate Machine, with a considerably heavier sound. Its influences are industrial metal and noise rock.
