Christopher G. Chris Tompkins is an American songwriter from Nashville, originally from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He won the 2007 MusicRow Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year award and was honored as the Alabama Music Hall of Fame songwriter of the year.
