Cynthia Hopkins is an American performance artist, composer, and musician. She has written, composed, and performed five works of performance art at a number of theaters around the world, including St. Ann?s Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has also self-produced five full-length albums, and is the recipient of a Bessie Award, two Obie Awards, the 2007 Alpert Award in Theater, and a 2010 Guggenheim Fellowship.
