Ecem Uzun was born in Sariyer, Istanbul. At the age of 8, she took part in the plays of the same institution while she was studying theater as a trainee at the Sariyer Municipality Theatre. Sariyer I.O.O. and she graduated from Hüseyin Kalkavan High School. Later, she entered the Theater Department at Kadir Has University. She took her first step into acting with an Ülker commercial.
