Formed in 2004, Violent Soho are an Australian band from the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland. They are a quartet, with Luke Boerdam on guitar/vocals, James Tidswell on guitar/vocals, Luke Henery on bass and Michael Richards on drums. Their sound has often been likened to the alternative rock music of the 1990s, with bands such as The Pixies, Mudhoney and Nirvana cited.
