An all-round composer of songs, film scores and television shows, Carlo Innocenzi was born in Monteleone di Spoleto in 1899. He married his lyricist Marcella Rivi (who wrote the words for many of his hit songs including "Il Primo Amore", "Prigoniero di un Sogno", "Addio Sogni di Gloria", "Bocca Desiderata" and "Tu M'Incatenerai".)
