Carole Raphaelle Davis was born in London, England on February 17, 1958 to a French mother and an American father. She is trilingual and a citizen of the United States and the European Union. She grew up in England, Scotland, Hawaii, France, Italy and Thailand and moved to New York City as a teenager.
