Leila K, born Laila El Khalifi in Gothenburg 1971, is a Swedish Eurodance singer, actress and former rapper of Moroccan descent. At 15 her father decided to send his daughter to a Muslim school in Morocco in order to discipline her so she could achieve better study results. One year later she was back in Sweden.
