Brightblack Morning Light is a band which formed in Northern California by Nathan Shineywater & pianist Rachael Hughes, both of whom originally hail from Alabama. Organizing music shows in Northern California which included Rachel's, Rachel Grimes, Will Oldham, Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart, Entrance, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Women & Children, Micheal Hurley, Vetiver, Daniel AIU Higgs.
