Danny Smith was born in Montreal but moved to Pickering, Ontario at the age of seven.After high school, Danny was accepted into AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York City, but did not go, instead appearing in many musical theatre productions at Stage West in Mississauga.He went on to study and perform improvisational comedy at The Second City in Toronto, one of his teachers being SCTV's Joe Flaherty.
