Songwriter ("Near You", "Luna Rossa"), composer, author and archeologist, educated at Cornell University with a BS degree in agriculture. He operated a dairy farm, then worked in real estate and construction. During World war II he was an Army Primary Flight Instructor and Flight Test Engineer.
