He was an actor and writer, known for Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar (1999), Asterix at the Olympic Games (2008) and Le roman du samedi (1980). He was married to Marie-Claude Roul and Jacqueline Blanchet. He died on September 6, 2009 in Fréjus, Var, France.
