While living with his family in the USA where his father presided the Brazilian Navy Commission in Washington DC, Carlos de Andrade studied record engineering and production at Omega School of Recording Arts & Sciences - Rockville, MD - USA, where he graduated in 1979 returning to his home town in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil with the first diploma of its kind in the country.
