Ethan Wiley attended UCLA Theater & Film school to study play writing and directing, then began his career as a special effects artist working for Industrial Light & Magic and effects guru Chris Walas, on such classic films as Return of the Jedi, Gremlins, and Romancing the Stone. He wrote the hit horror-comedy House, and wrote and directed House 2: The Second Story. Both films are now considered cult classics.
