Jacob Douglas Saylor was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Julie Kuhns and Larry Saylor. Raised as an only child, his parents divorced when Jacob was four years old. Jacob's earliest performances where in the annual musicals at the Catholic Grade school of St. Martin of Tours in Cheviot, Ohio. He continued performing in Glee club and the Drama Department of LaSalle High school in Cincinnati.
