John Schmersal is an American musician, producer, composer best known for being a founding member of the band Enon, as well as the guitarist for the seminal Dayton, Ohio synthpunk group Brainiac prior to forming Enon. Schmersal joined Brainiac in 1994, replacing guitarist Michelle Bodine, on their tour opening for Quicksand and Seaweed.
