Laurie Stirratt is a co-founder of the alt-country/roots rock band, Blue Mountain, in which she played bass guitar, occasionally rhythm guitar and sang harmony with her ex-husband, Cary Hudson. Blue Mountain was formed in 1991 in Los Angeles but moved back to Oxford, MS in later that year. The duo were formerly of The Hilltops, an Oxford, Mississippi band formed in 1988 by John Stirratt, Cary Hudson and Laurie Stirratt.
