Slava Tsukerman, born 1940, in Moscow, Soviet Union, is a director, writer and producer. In 1961 he made his first film, "I Believe in Spring" . For the next twelve years he was active in independent filmmaking in the USSR. In 1973 he emigrated to Israel where he directed a couple of films. He moved to New York in 1976.
