Dearbhla Molloy was born in Ireland and educated through the medium of Irish and English. Her career began with Irish-speaking plays with the Abbey Theatre Dublin. She went on to join the RSC ( London Critic's Award Juno & The Paycock) playing Mary to Judi Dench's Juno among other parts. She has done several plays on Broadway, including Dancing at Lughnasa (Tony Award nomination).
