Dick (Richard L.) Westerschulte was born in Chicago, the son of Richard H. and Juanita M (nee Kreuder). He attended Northwestern University. Dick was awarded a Bronze Star for meritorious achievement in ground operations in Germany on or about Dec, 14, 1944. He was married to Rosemary Theresa Biritz of Chicago. They had three beautiful daughters: Linda, Richarda (Rikki), and Elizabeth.
