Ismail El Habrouk was a multi-talented Egyptian artist who excelled in several fields, including zajal (folk poetry), poetry, and songwriting. He wrote over 200 songs and poems, composing lyrics for some of the most famous singers of his time, such as Abdel Halim Hafez, Fayzah Ahmad, Farid El-Atrash and Muharram Fuad.
