Sacred Mother Tongue was a 4-piece British metal band from Northampton initially formed in 2004. Their line up consisted of Darrin South, Andy James, Craig Daws and Lee Newell.
The band has performed at music festivals throughout the UK including Download Festival 2009, 2011, and Sonisphere Festival 2010. Metal Hammer Magazine has called them The most convincing young British Metal band to emerge in a long time.
