Luiza Albuquerque is in the process of preparing for the wedding of her daughter Teresa. The bride is not very convinced, on the eve of the ceremony she meets Miguel Rosa. He saves her from a conflict in the middle of the airport when Teresa goes to get her sister Isabel, coming from New York for the wedding. Teresa falls in love with Miguel but puts the love of both in the hands of destiny. Mário Albuquerque's company has been embezzled by its chief financial officer and his secretary Leonor, leave him in misery.
