Leslie Pearl is an American pop songwriter born in Pennsylvania. She wrote hits for Crystal Gayle, Karen Carpenter, Kenny Rogers, and Dr. Hook, among others. She recorded one album, scoring a chart hit with the RCA Records single, If the Love Fits Wear It. The song peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 7 on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1982. She also wrote jingles for Pepsi, Folgers Coffee, Ford, Gillette and others.
