The Ravyns are an American rock group from Baltimore, best known for 1982's Raised on the Radio, a major hit and part of the soundtrack to Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Following that single, the group released a self-titled album in 1984 with MCA, and then won the 1985 Basement Tapes competition on MTV with the music video for Rhythm of the Heart.
