British singer/songwriter Tony Hazzard was born on October 31, 1943 in Liverpool, England. He started playing both the guitar and the ukulele at an early age. Hazzard studied music at Durham University. Tony was introduced to BBC story editor Tony Garnett through a mutual friend.
