Jess is a mechanic and restores old cars in her father's workshop. The workshop is now threatened with being bought out by their competitor, a former friend of her father who once refused a partnership and forced her father to start his own business instead. At that time, she was dating Luke, the son of her father's friend, but she broke off the relationship when Luke didn't take her side in the feud.
