Allan Phillips was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He's a music producer, composer, arranger, and musician now residing in Southern California. His musical style is a blend of contemporary music with ethnic elements from around the world. On October 18 of 2008, he won an Emmy Award for the musical score of the Public Television series Grannies on Safari.
