Noah and the Whale are an Folk/Rock English band from Twickenham, London, England formed in 2006. The band consists of Charlie Fink, Tom Hobden, Matt Urby Whale Owens, Fred Abbott, and Michael Petulla. Doug Fink, the brother of lead singer Charlie, and Laura Marling also used to be members of the band.Their band name inspiration is believed to have come from the 2005 Noah Buambach film The Squid And The Whale,the band have neither confirmed of denied this.
