Four pathetic people live in a small village thanks to the kindness of Don Toni, an old crock with a dark past, who lets them live in his house. In spite of the group's precarious economic situation, everything seems quite calm until Don Toni decides to leave the house to live in an old people's home. Suddenly they find themselves out on the street. But then Marisa appears. She's the booking office clerk at the Teatro Principal in the nearest town and she suggests that they should rob the box office takings the following weekend when Star Wars Episode I is being shown. After considering the question carefully, the quartet decide to carry out the robbery, even though they are up against a powerful enemy; their honour.
