Dave Hamelin is a vocalist and guitarist for Canadian rock band The Stills. The principal songwriter and lyricist for the band made the move up from behind the kit after guitarist Greg Paquet left the band in 2005. On March 28, 2009, The Stills were awarded 2 Juno Awards, in the categories for Best New Group of The Year, and Best Alternative Album of the Year for their album Oceans Will Rise.
